DroneView Year in Review and 2023 Outlook
As DroneView approaches our 8th anniversary we continue to maintain the excitement that a startup company feels leading in an emerging and rapidly growing industry. Driven by our talented and experienced leadership team DroneView completed another record year in 2022
DroneView supports civil engineering and surveying firms with high accuracy aerial mapping and geospatial products serving an array of industry sectors including Energy (wind, solar, oil and gas), Electric Utilities (Transmission & Distribution), Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC), Solid Waste Landfills, Aggregates/Mining, Airport Planning, among others.
DroneView is much more than “Just Drones”
Our toolkit and expertise continues to grow. We have developed market leading workflows to ensure that our high accuracy mapping products are coupled with timely project delivery schedules. We are agnostic to the collection platform and their sensors, taking a consultative approach to help our client’s projects achieve the best result. Manned aircraft with both image and LiDAR sensors, UAV LiDAR, mobile LiDAR, bathymetric sensors and standard RGB drone imagery platforms are all utilized.
What lies ahead for DroneView in 2023 and beyond?
Continued organic growth in our core aerial mapping markets coupled with new hires and targeted strategic acquisition(s).
Further expansion within the reality capture industry bringing greater value to interactive digital twin models with actionable insights for exterior, interior, ground and aerial data
Continue to monitor adoption of Beyond Visual Line of Site (BVLOS) drone operations in the United States. We are seeing successful traction with bespoke drone delivery and a few linear utility inspection operations. At some point (over the next several years) this will have relevance to DroneView. Doubtful that we will be bringing beers to the beach via drones but it will enable us to inspect and map power transmission lines and other larger areas more efficiently.
